HEY! I’M AIMEE
A PORTLAND, MAINE BASED FILM PHOTOGRAPHER & ARTIST

Born and raised in Georgia, I found my way to Maine by way of a life changing romance in New York City.  I've always felt like an artist, experimenting with sound, clay, textiles, cameras, inspired by both the real and the surreal.

Photography, for me, is about celebrating life: the texture of lived-in spaces, unexpected bursts of color, heart-stopping vows, and the warmth of everyday rituals. I work primarily with 35mm and medium format film as a way of slowing down and paying attention. My collection of analog cameras further shape my process — intuitive, intentional, playful. I find that my creative approach thrives through observation more than direction. I love to honor the integrity of what naturally unfolds, offering guidance only when needed.

Aristotle taught that the whole surpasses the sum of its parts, and I believe your life does the same — each moment composing a larger, more beautiful work of art. So whether it's your dream wedding day or an afternoon together in the kitchen, my goal is to make pictures that feel honest and vibrant.
